Roughing It - Meat and Potatoes
Another of our simple meals at the fly in camp in northern Ontario.As mentioned before, we try and plan every other dinner to include something other than fish. This isn’t because of a lack of confidence in catching them, its more a desire to break up the entree’s so that we don’t get sick of eating fish all the time. This particular evening our dinner would include beef and it was one of the best meals of the whole trip.
The menu was as follows:
- Marinated Whole Beef Tenderloin with mushroom or a blue cheese and
crab horseradish sauce. - Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
- Fresh Baked Rolls
- Blueberry Cobbler
