Making a huge pot of chicken vegetable soup and a big batch of pesto, of course.
Ok, that wouldn’t be my first choice either. But the dire backlog of my CSA vegetables in the fridge, combined with the fact that I’ll be travelling next week on business left me with little choice.
And I’ll really appreciate it this winter, when I pull the soup out of the freezer for a quick dinner, or thaw a bit of pesto to mix into a tilapia dish.
