One of the more interesting pieces of produce this week in our CSA box was the purple cauliflower. When I steamed it up with a mixture of other vegetables tonight, I expected the color to fade, just as purple beans fade to green when cooked. That didn’t happen. In fact, Greg said tonight at dinner, “I don’t mean to alarm you, but our cauliflower is purple”. And so it was!
