Passalacqua Winery
Our first stop after lunch was the Passalacqua Winery. This winery is owned by a family that has four generations of winemaking history in the Healdsburg area. The tasting room is part of a complex of winery buildings just off the road. It is surrounded by some lovely gardens and deck with a nice view of the surrounding countryside.
Their wines come from vineyards in the Dry Creek, Russian River, and Sonoma appelations.
Wines sampled:
2007 Dry Creek Valley Chardonnay
2006 Sonoma County Zinfandel
2006 Old Vine Zinfandel, Dry Creek Valley
2006 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, Maple Vineyard
2005 Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
