New Kitchen!

by irene on November 21, 2004

As I’ve mentioned a time or two, the reason I’ve been so lax about updating Cuisine Capers is because we are right at the end of building our new house. We got to start moving in on Saturday, after going through a building process that started with the ground breaking way back last April.

One of the reasons we are so excited about the new house is the kitchen. When we started working with our architect, we knew we were going to go nuts the kitchen – and we did. Now, after seeing how it all came together, we are ecstatic. The kitchen turned out better than we ever imagined it could. Take a look at the pictures below!

(And the picture to the left is of our new Shiba Inu puppy – 12 week old Toshiro Shiba!)

Holy cow…what an awesome kitchen! I hope you’ll never take it for granted…remember all us poor folks struggling with our non-perfect kitchens.

Just wanted to clarify my above post…I didn’t mean “poor folks” in a financial way…I just meant, oh woe is me for my not perfect kitchen. Hope that didn’t get taken the wrong way! :)

Thanks, all, for the kind comments on the kitchen. We moved into the house yesterday and we’re knee-deep in boxes and organization. Ugh.

Alice – We didn’t take your post wrong at all… I appreciated your compliment, and don’t worry, it will be a matter of days before my kitchen isn’t perfect anymore!

And Zarah, I would have gladly given you the puppy this morning at 2 AM when I was outside in 20 degree temps giving her a potty break!

Again, thanks all…
