The fall season has special meaning here in Wisconsin. Changing colors, crisp evenings, football (Go Packers) and of course hunting. As a card carrying member of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals - Get your bumper stickers here and here),
I venture into the woods each fall looking to kill 4 legged creatures with sharp pointy sticks, or the occasional bullet. After a successful season comes the joy or preparing your harvest for consumption. There have been many years that my family has gone an entire year without eating beef. Why you say? Because the freezer is full of venison!
