Apple for Lunch
The title of this post is a bit misleading. I haven’t, unfortunately, gone on a health kick and started to eat apples for lunch. No fear of that. Instead, I and some cohorts in crime ate lunch at Apple today. We were in Cupertino, CA visiting the Apple campus on business. We were treated to lunch in Caffe Mac, their main cafeteria. They had everything imaginable, from salad bars to pastas of the day, to burrito bars, to sandwich bars, to wood burning ovens for pizzas, to sushi. There seemed to be a feeling by our host that the company bends over backwards to accomodate the vegan population as well, though I noticed none of us ventured in that direction.
Two of us opted for the pizzas. One of us opted for the burrito bar. Pictures below:
I’d rate it pretty darned good, for a work cafeteria. As we munched, I pointed out to my cohorts that we shouldn’t feel slighted. After all, we’ve got a vending machine that sells Chili Cheese Fritos in our office.

So. Envious.
You forgot that we might even still have some leftover hot dogs from last week. Microwave goodness!
